CompareCare allows Massachusetts health care consumers to compare quality and costs of medical procedures in different health care facilities and different cities. Quality data displayed comes from CMS Hospital Compare and the Leapfrog Hospital Survey (maternity care data). AHRQ Patient safety measures are derived from the CHIA Hospital Discharge Database. Consumers can compare treatment costs by checking the average cost for the most common procedures.
