Care Compare – Long Term Care Hospitals

, , ,

CMS launched Care Compare in September 2020, a redesigned Medicare compare tool that allows users to find information about quality measures, star ratings and care experiences for doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, dialysis facilities, hospices, inpatient rehabilitation facilities and long-term care hospitals.

Consumers can use this site (Care Compare – Long Term Care Hospitals) to find and compare Medicare-certified long-term care hospitals in their area and compare them based on their quality. Long-term care hospitals serve critically ill and medically complex patients who require extended hospital care. Most patients are transferred after spending time in an intensive or critical care unit. Use this website to find and compare long-term care hospitals based on quality of care and infection rates.
