Ziekenhuischeck (Hospital Check) provides insight into the quality performance of hospitals in the Netherlands. Hospitals can be compared by treatment and also provides information about the cooperation between hospitals. Data displayed on Hospital Check are based on quality indicators that hospitals are required to provide to the Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate and the Dutch Health Care Institute by law. These figures are also used by doctors and hospitals themselves to improve the quality of care. The overall satisfaction figures come from national research.
