The National Patient Experience Survey (NPES) is a nationwide annual survey asking people for feedback about their stay in the 39 public acute hospitals in Ireland. All adult patients discharged in May, who spend 24 hours or more in a public acute hospital and have a postal address in the Republic of Ireland are asked to complete the survey. Reports on survey results are available for each of the 39 individual hospital and for the six hospital group reports (PDF format only). Each report includes a snapshot, giving a visual overview of patient responses. Website also contains link to each hospital’s responses to the survey results.
A new National Maternity Experiences Survey will be conducted from Feb 1 – April 30 2020 with results published online during Autumn 2020.
