The Major Trauma Audit (MTA) national report examines the most severely injured patients in the Irish healthcare system. The report presents data from over 5,400 patients across 26 trauma hospitals in Ireland, representing 88% of all major trauma patients. The MTA has provided hospital-level data since 2019.
