Canadian Institute of Health Information (CIHI) released a toolkit that provides a suite of resources related to CIHI’s patient experience survey and measures, their importance and how survey data can be leveraged for quality improvement initiatives. The toolkit – Patient Experience Survey and Measurement Resource Toolkit – will evolve over time as new resources are added and outdated content is retired.
The Canadian Patient Experience Survey gathers information about patients’ experiences in relation to the Admission process, communication(s), involvement in decisions and respect for patient’s preferences, coordination of care, discharge process and overall experience of care.
