After having COVID-19, some people experience new or ongoing related symptoms often called Long COVID. The Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC) released a new analysis that identifies the number of Coloradans in the CO APCD who were diagnosed with Long COVID. These information is broken down by age, gender, race/ethnicity, and county of residence. This analysis includes Coloradans with a Long COVID diagnosis on or after October 1, 2021 (when the ICD-10 long COVID code was implemented). Claims from October 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022 were included.
