Nursing home quality data on the Medicare Care Compare Website was updated on July 27 2022. CMS released its enhanced Nursing Home Five-Star Quality Rating System with this July data release, which integrates data nursing homes report on their weekend staffing rates for nurses and information on annual turnover among nurses and administrators.

- Percentage of long-stay residents whose need for help with daily activities has increased (21Q2_22Q1)
- Percentage of long-stay residents whose ability to move independently worsened (21Q2_22Q1)
- Percentage of long-stay high-risk residents with pressure ulcers (21Q2_22Q1)
- Percentage of long-stay residents who have or had a catheter inserted and left in their bladder (21Q2_22Q1)
- Percentage of long-stay residents with a urinary tract infection (21Q2_22Q1)
- Percentage of long-stay residents experiencing one or more falls with major injury (21Q2_22Q1)
- Percentage of long-stay residents who got an antipsychotic medication (21Q1_21Q4)
- Number of hospitalizations per 1,000 long-stay resident days (21Q2_22Q1)
