The Leapfrog Group announced a partnership with Money.com (formerly Money Magazine) to power Money’s lists of best hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers in the U.S. Founded in 1972, Money provides up-to-date news, educational resources, and tools to help consumers make informed financial decisions, from investing and retirement to health care and insurance.
Money will publish a series of lists of top-rated health care enterprises with a focus on patient safety and quality of care. Lists will be provided by The Leapfrog Group using data from the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey and Leapfrog Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Survey and other sources Leapfrog’s experts identify. Money’s editorial staff will then vet Leapfrog’s recommendations and publish lists of top performers nationally across various categories including best hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, best ethical billing practices, best pediatric care, and best maternity care.
To be considered for Money’s lists, hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers must complete the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey or Leapfrog ASC Survey by August 31, 2022.
