U.S. News to Debut Best Senior Living Ratings

Share this:

Next month, U.S. News will add an important new offering – Best Senior Living – to its U.S. News & World Report series of consumer guides. The Best Senior Living ratings will enable the comparing of providers of independent living, assisted living, memory care or continuing care.

The new ratings will be determined by an objective statistical assessment of each senior living community’s performance on consumer satisfaction surveys. U.S. News data analysts studied data from surveys of residents – and family members of residents – living in thousands of independent living, assisted living, memory care and continuing care retirement communities. Under an agreement with U.S. News, Activated Insights, a customer and employee analytics platform, worked with participating locations to conduct the surveys and then provided results to U.S. News for statistical analysis. Following its established practices to ensure objectivity and integrity, U.S. News developed the methodology. The results of the analysis will be published on usnews.com on May 10, where they will identify the Best Senior Living awardees and provide useful information about all participating communities.
