CorHealth Ontario released the 2019/20 Ontario Stroke Report. Ontario’s Annual Stroke Report provides an overview of stroke system performance in the province by ranking approximately 30 aspects of care using hospital-specific, regional and provincial data. The 11 provincial stroke networks and the hospitals within those use this report to guide planning and decision making and reflect best practices which leads to system improvements, and ultimately better outcomes for patients and families with stroke.

The report made use of de-sensitized data from the ICES data repository, which is managed by the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences with support from its funders and partners: Canada’s Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR), the Ontario SPOR Support Unit, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Government of Ontario. Parts of the report material are based on data and/or other information compiled and provided by CIHI.
