Cancer screening programs aim to reduce illness and death from selected cancers. This report from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) presents the latest information on participation in Australia’s national bowel, breast and cervical cancer screening programs, and activity data for Australia’s national bowel and cervical cancer screening programs. Activity data is reported quarterly for Australia and participation rates are reported for Australia, states and territories, Primary Health Network areas, and smaller local areas across Australia. This latest release includes new activity data for June quarter of 2021, and final participation data for the BreastScreen Australia program (2018–2019).
