The Washington Health Alliance released its latest Community Checkup report on the quality of health care in Washington state . Analyzing data for four million people and with results for 1,978 clinics, 327 medical groups, 106 hospitals, 16 health plans, 39 counties, and all nine Accountable Communities of Health on more than 100 performance measures for claims from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, this report includes:
- a comparison of Washington state performance to HEDIS national benchmarks;
- a ranking of medical group and clinic performance across the state using the Alliance’s new Quality Composite Score;
- a look at statewide adolescent well-care visits for the Medicaid-insured and providers that are beating the trend; and
- a special feature to assist health insurance purchasers in using Community Checkup results for health care decision-making.
