Adult Inpatient Survey Results for NHS Acute Hospitals

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has published the Adult inpatient survey 2019. The survey looked at the experiences of 76,915 people who were discharged from an NHS acute hospital in July 2019.

The Adult Inpatient Survey Results Report includes survey results on experiences of adult patients in NHS hospitals. Performance for measures reported include patients’ perceptions of the quality of communication between medical professionals (doctors and nurses) and patients, being involved in decisions about their care and treatment, information sharing when leaving hospital, waiting times and support after leaving hospital. Results are available for each hospitals and performance can be compared to other hospitals.
