The Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) and the California Department of Insurance (CDI) have released new data which shows mixed results for California’s health insurance enrollment in 2018, writes California Health Care Foundation (CHCF). Total enrollment stood at 32.8 million, down 269,000 (or 0.8%) from 2017, with declines in Medi-Cal managed care and the individual market nearly offset by increases in employer-sponsored small and large group coverage.
