NYS DOH Release Two Reports on Cardiac Care in New York State

The New York state Department of Health released two reports in April on the state of cardiac care in New York State. The reports cover the two most common procedures performed on patients with coronary artery disease – percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG). The reports are based on data for patients discharged between December 1, 2013, and November 30, 2016, provided by all 62 non-federal hospitals in NYS where cardiac surgery and PCI were performed.
