The Washington Health Alliance released an analyzes of inpatient treatment prices and found wide variations not only across the state, but within hospitals. The report analyzed 171 inpatient treatments for 2016. This marks the first time the Alliance has reported publicly on variation in case prices, using data from the Alliance’s All-Payer Claims Database (APCD). They report the median price per treatment and give a range of prices from lowest to highest for each hospital in Washington state.
