Catalyst for Payment Reform and the Quality Institute Release Scorecard 2.0

Catalyst for Payment Reform (CPR) and the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute released the New Jersey Scorecard 2.0. CPR developed New Jersey’s Scorecard 2.0, which pilots their expanded methodology to understand if and how payment reform activity correlates with quality and affordability in New Jersey’s commercial market. The goal of Scorecard 2.0 is to help purchasers and other stakeholders in both the private and public sector track the nation’s progress on payment reform, as well as identify any high-level indicators of its impact on the cost and quality of health care. The scorecard for New Jersey shows that 52% of all commercial payments are value-oriented (using 2016 data).
