NJ DOH to Develop NJ Report Card of Hospital Maternity Care

USA Today writes Gov. Phil Murphy on Friday signed a bill to create a report card that is designed to give New Jersey’s expectant parents more insight into the quality of their hospitals’ maternity care. The report card is expected to take into account the number of cesarean deliveries and the rate of complications. The New Jersey Report Card of Hospital Maternity Care will be developed by the state Department of Health. It will appear on its website and be updated annually.
