Data on Maryland Health Care Commission’s WearTheCost Website has been updated to include price and quality data calculated based on commercial insurer data from 2015 and 2016. The Website contains cost information for common nonemergent procedures at hospitals in Maryland, including hip replacements, knee replacements, hysterectomies and vaginal births. The site also allows consumers to create a custom report showing the cost and quality among hospitals for one or more episodes of care.
