A new study, published in MJA, sought to investigate whether enrollment of patients in management programs after hospitalization for heart failure (HF) reduces the likelihood of post-hospital adverse outcomes.The study concluded differences in early re-admission rates after hospitalization for HF are primarily explained by differences in post-discharge management.
