The ASC Quality Collaboration (a collaboration of leaders from both the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) industry and organizations with a focus on healthcare quality and safety) released its public report of ambulatory surgical center (ASC) quality data for 3rd quarter 2017. The clinical quality data reflects patient admissions from July 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017 from 1,484 ASCs — including 918 multispecialty ASCs and 566 single specialty ASCs — representing every state except Vermont. The report presents aggregated performance data for 11 ASC facility-level quality measures developed by the ASC Quality Collaboration.
