Alabama Department of Public Health released its annual healthcare-associated infections (HAI) report. This 2016 Annual Report highlights Alabama’s sixth year of reporting infection measure data, reporting infection rates for the state’s hospitals on catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs), central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) and two surgical site infection measures including abdominal hysterectomies and colon surgeries
