The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) released the 2012 healthcare acquired infection (HAI) report. The report is based upon standardized infection ratios that are based upon national comparative data from 2006-2009. There are hospital-specific SIRs listed, and they are color-coded according to whether the rates are lower than expected, higher than expected or the same what would be expected based upon the national data.
ISDH release first mandatory HAI report
