- process-of-care “core” measures; and
- hospital patient experience measures.
All of these data are publicly reported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. In addition, comparative data on patient safety and hospital quality have recently been added to the site. It is the most up-to-date data available for each state and is comprehensive, including information from all payers—Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers.
