Puget Sound Health Alliance, a Seattle non profit organization, has released an online comparison tool (Community Checkup report) to facilitate comparison of the region’s hospitals and clinics on quality against regional and national averages.
This iteration of the report card compares 30 additional medical groups and 70 additional individual clinics and also tracks how patients’ care differs for the privately insured versus those with Medicaid. Hospitals are ranked on 11 main measures, each with multiple subcategories.
