New Hampshire patient safety legislation requires hospital to report never events

Share this:

In New Hampshire, patient safety legislation that passed the Legislature this year (HB 592) will require New Hampshire hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers to report “never events” to the state for tracking and public reporting purposes. New Hampshire was the only New England state without this reporting law until now.

Meanwhile, HB 433 will provide funding for the hospital infection reporting law that passed in 2006 but was not funded in 2007.
