The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council has released its third hospital-specific report (www.phc4.org/reports/hai/07/) on hospital-acquired infections and includes data on about 1.6 million patients treated in 165 general acute-care hospitals in Pennsylvania. Data reported is for 2006 to 2007.
Data for 2008 are not yet available.
