Job posting: ALL CLAIMS DATABASE RESEARCH ANALYST
The purpose of the position is to manage the newly created All Claims Database project. This project involves collecting claims data from Utah health insurance providers, overseeing an external vendor who will be responsible for cleaning and merging the data, and conducting data analysis using an episode of care grouper software package. The incumbent will ensure compliance with the administrative rule mandating reporting and will work with health plans to establish data submission and reporting standards. The incumbent will work with the OHCS director as well as other staff to establish priorities for the creation of reports. The incumbent will work with internal staff to design consumer reports as well as reports for other health care stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and managing the internal database, running analyses, and responding to data requests.
